Dieser Workshop lädt neugierige 2nd Generation europäische FilipinX dazu ein, gemeinsam die Themen Community und Identität zu explorieren. Ansätze zu „Kapwa“ von Carl Lorenz Cervantes (Psychologe, beforscht die Psychologie philippinischer Spiritualität) werden uns dazu dienen, unsere Werte, Haltungen und Perspektiven bewusst und sichtbar zu machen.

Wie kann uns Kapwa dazu dienen, auch in der Diaspora mit diversen weiteren kulturellen Einflüssen und Prägungen, unser „Selbst“ und damit auch unsere Wünsche an Community zu definieren? Was braucht eine Community, die Raum für gemeinsame Identifikation schafft, in der sich das Individuum gesehen und zugehörig fühlt?

Co-kreativ, achtsam und verbunden entwickeln wir gemeinsam unsere Ansätze und Ideen für die Zukunft - einen Blueprint für alle Communities, in denen wir uns bewegen. Unsere Erkenntnisse werden darüber hinaus auch in die Weiterentwicklung des Halo Halo Netzwerkes fließen. Kennst Du es noch nicht? Check es aus!

This workshop invites curious diasporan FilipinX to explore perspectives on community and identity together. Carl Lorenz Cervantes’ (psychologist and researcher of the psychology of Filipino spirituality) approach on Kapwa will give us a foundation upon which we will map out our own values, stances and perspectives.

How can Kapwa serve us to define our "self" and thus our desires for our communities, even though we live in diaspora with diverse cultural influences and imprints? What does a community need to be able to create a space for shared identification that at the same time makes individuals feel seen and that they belong?

Co-creatively, mindful and connected, we develop our own approaches and ideas for our future - a blueprint for all communities in which we move. Our insights will further more inform the future development of the Halo Halo network. You haven’t heard about it yet? Check it out!
